We came across The Garlic Press while walking around downtown after lunch, and it turned out to be such a fun little find! This shop is full of all kinds of unique items—kitchen gadgets, gifts, bags, fudge, toys, stuffed animals… a little bit of everything. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s another section to explore. One of my favorite parts was their display of beautiful, unique umbrellas. They even had a The Starry Night design, which is one of my all-time favorite paintings. I already have a Starry Night umbrella, or I definitely would have picked that one up! I also had the chance to chat with the owner, who was incredibly sweet. She shared that the shop was originally created by her mom back in 1976, which makes it even more special knowing the history behind it. The whole store just has such a warm, inviting feel, and I couldn’t leave without grabbing some fudge to take home. We happened to come in right before closing, so we had to head out, but I’ll definitely be back to spend more time browsing.

Had an awesome visit. Would definitely come back again. The popcorn fudge and chocolates were displayed very nicely and tasted just as delicious as they looked. Wonderout through the rest of the store and found several other things that I. The selections of olive oil and coffee were outstanding.

They have infinite choices for popcorn and a wide variety of gifts, stationary and house decors. This is the go to store to explore any handy items for housing needs. Must try their beer cheese!

This store has unique gift items. We moved away from the area but my girls still love the taffy for sale in the gourmet popcorn shop. The stuffed animals pictured are just a running gag I have with my girls. We go out of our way to shop here still.

This was my kids and I first experience with the garlic press and let me tell you I was very surprised. I honestly thought maybe it was a restaurant by the name but it's actually a shop filled with some of everything. My middle son fell in love with the cooking supplies they offered as they sold a particular brand that he was very familiar with. They had everything from beautiful plates, lovely smelling candles, purses from Baggallini, little knick nacks, knives, pans, cooking aprons, steam pots and more. I'm not sure my pictures did it justice to be honest the amount of things they offer. The store even seemed endless at some point not to mention connected to a candy store which we didn't discover until leaving and wasn't sure how to get into it plus we were hungry so we decided we would visit another time. Some of the things we did see were a little on the pricey side so just a heads up there but the quality did seem to be there. It's def a shop worth checking out for sure if you have some free time.
